I bought these wheels today after Wiggle dropped the price by £100 - https://www.wiggle.co.uk/prime-rr-50-v3-carbon-clincher-disc-wheelset

Weight of the wheelset will drop from 2.3KG to 1.8KG and profile will move from 22mm to 50mm, so hoping these will feel better on the road. They'll definitely look better, which is clearly the most important thing ^_^

Yes, they'll ultimately end up in a hole in the ground @<Tommy>

They're getting to the price point of being reasonable. Even compared to Chinese ordered wheels

Well I just had a bit of a revelation on the saddle front - turns out I have a really narrow arse

Measured my sit bones at home in a few different ways and positions and they're about 100mm apart which is at the very very low end for the general population (or so internet search suggests). This means that I don't (theoretically) need a narrow saddle - I need a super narrow saddle, likely around 120mm.

Be careful of Internet searches regarding butt cheek sizing...

If anyone else is looking at saddles: Wiggle currently have a brilliant price cut on Selle Italia TDF themed ones - wouldn't use them outdoors as the yellow clashes with my bike but indoors why not.

I can ride pretty much any saddle except the one that came with the NEO bike. Could never get on with it. Arione used to be a favourite but I really like the short so called power saddles too. I think once you find a good fit on the bike, weight distribution pedals, saddle and bars then saddles type and sise become less important.

Ah fair point. @bridgy, any chance we could get invites for the first leg? Can't wait to get some new scalps
I think @<Tommy> will be setting up the races via the new clubs function shortly (I'm not a club administrator so can't actually do it)

Ok, before I hit "go" on this event, a few things to confirm:

- I'm thinking a start time of 19:50 on Tuesday (as it matches what we've been doing in the ZRL which seems to at least be doable for most)

- due to the lack of weeks until the next ZRL season, I'll drop stage 1 of my original plan and we'll start with Royal Pump Rooms 8 in Yorkshire

- I've selected no late join, and for results to be published which I think is all I need to do to make it a "race"

- I will set it so only club members can join so if anyone on here wants to join in but isn't yet a club member for any reason, speak up!
