Don't know if there was any luck involved. I think I was caught napping and got spat out pretty quickly. I need to pretend it's one of my Laguardia starts and worry about going into the red later
To be honest, I've seen you loosing that wheel as I was still behind you at the time. Decided to sprint a bit and bridge to the group past you and that was that - never saw you again which was a big surprise.

I bailed 🥴 completely fked from the start, not sure why could be the caffeinated coffee at work the customer kept making me (I normally drink decaf) hence heart rate spike at the start and never recovered from it.
My heart aches for you matey, it really does

Top tip for next races - stick to @mjd1988, same average wattage and over 3 minutes quicker - mastery in racecraft.

Cheers for the company!

Missed that first move, managed to get back but had burnt my one and only match and immediately fell off again .

Just throwing it out there - what about a handicap race at some point? For every minute you have on the last rider you add 1kg to your profile??
So impressed to see you and @IrishAl bridge across, then you both seem to drop straight off again which was a shame.

Bloody hard work that. Couldn't hold the front group long either (5km?) but thankfully found Michael and Rich and we rode quite a bit together. Enjoyed that.

Great to be back racing. Thanks for organising @bridgy and tracking results @IrishAl

The elastic well and truly snapped trying to get back across to the lead group near the start and then again just after @Peter Salt and @BurningLegs made it back to @Legs and @straas.

Enjoyed the tussle with @CXRAndy and @Johnsop99 towards the end but @alex_cycles bkew us away with 1k to go.
I was surprised you went for a move to try and get back into the front group rather than stay with us! No disrespect but when I saw you go for that I initially thought “no way he will stay in that group we can hoover him up in a few km”. Then our group slowed and I was worried we’d not be moving quick enough to put time into the group behind so I bridged to you, hoping to end up with the strongest 3/4. Everyone came with me so I wasted a match, but we settled in nicely as a group except for a few digs from legs and Peter 🙂

Top C tonight, three B riders behind. I'm on fire lads:boxing:
I’m not too worried about the 0.2 second time gap. Come back to me at the end of the series to see who’s top C 😎

I was surprised when the shout went out to go full gas from the start
Are you new to Zwift racing? 🤣

Ah just wheelsuckingand supertucking really. Very similar to a race last season, me and @Whorty drafting then attacking each other on the climbs, dropping Rich then him coming back like the terminator. Was surprised to get a gap up the last incline after Carl attacked, saw he was either suffering or waiting for Rich and then TT'd as hard as I could. Big gap to the guys ahead though
