Just waiting official confirmation but quietly confident...

Ultimate team performance tonight from the splitters. Hope CCC had as much fun as we did

I said to the lads before the race that even though points win prizes, people are going to need to do things in the race that are just as important as points, even if they don’t show so obviously on the stats. And @Legs solo attack on lap 5 to take the FAL was exactly what I was talking about. That’s not me saying I told you so fwiw! That’s just me giving the credit it deserves. I can’t overstate how big I thought that was in that moment. Pure heart!

Top top team effort lads :notworthy:. Jesus that was textbook wasn’t it?

Cracking results there boys.

CCC for some reason didn't gather as many points, despite nearly all of us scoring in the sprints. We had really good power and W/kg, but it failed to materialize into a better finishing position
Still flying high in the league though!

I think this was because we don't have a dedicated sprinter any more (we miss @Whorty!) so while we got ten sets of FAL points and one FTS (@Peter Salt being responsible for six of these scores) most points came from the mid to lower end of the top 10 - all around solid individual performances but no really dominant ones like some of the other teams were able to get. The exception was the surprise long range attack which the team launched on the very first lap which got @JLaw 2nd and @CXRAndy 3rd!

Great results in both divisions tonight chaps, well done.

I think the CycleChat Splitters need to aim for a double league victory now, don’t we?! I don’t see any reason why not!

Disappointed not to be out there representing this evening but very much looking forward to the Innsbruck course. You’d better believe I’m looking for the full sweep of FAL, FTS, and finishing points on that course!! (if selected :laugh:)

Video of tonights Splitters race - it's one to enjoy! Probably worth skipping to the sprints and the finish as nothing much happens in between them.

Great sprinting from Carl, Bram, Michael and Tim (including a great long attack on the 5th sprint which I kind of missed in real time as I was busy fiddling with my phone trying to get Discord back!)

Tommy and I were focusing mostly on Libby Hill at the finish and it couldn't have gone much better there either - although looking back it was even closer at the finish line than I remember 😬

The Wahoo acquisition and IMMEDIATE integration of RGT looks really good. Zwift might actually have someone snapping at their heels now.

Last summer I stopped my Zwift subscription for a while. When this ZRL season is complete I think I will do the same and give Wahoo X a go for a couple of months!
