A recent datum for Cyclechat' times on Zwift, should be LBHIFI, he uses power meter pedals with a Bkool pro unit as resistance.

Remember he used to pan most of us when in the Bkool races:okay:

Absolutely and I follow his Zwift rides vis Strava. He and bridgy amongst Zwift users were consistently faster than rest of us.

I was wondering if Lee’s 20 min time up the KOM was on a pro or his neo. If the latter then that’s a sensational time. It’s fast even on the pro.
I rode on very tight sore quads today. Only rode 15k yesterday but on my best bike and legs seemed to react to the set up compared to my turbo bike.Tried to massage looser unsuccessfully them before the start. I spun most of the way up at 100% catching other rides but slowed when I realised gap to first 6 or so was 2 1/2 min. Only pushed harder near end when others seemed to be gaining on me.That suggests I may be able to reduce my time but it will be a stretch. Best thing might be to join a race that has kom.

I think Dave may choose a ride to unleash a fast time^_^

If you click on the time itself in the league it takes you to the ride where you set that time,. Alot of yours LEE were set on the mega big ride early this year where there were 1700 riders

Yeah it looks like a Pro Time, but not as in professional rider mind:okay:
I reckon you are stronger than then and could get near or even best that time on the NEO so we should, like I suggested but no one has bitten yet, set up a Loop ride including the KOM. I would have more chance of beating my ride if I was having to chase you and Whorty.

i am up for it ! - dangle the carrot to the others as well - i am sure they will bite without much hesitation
i am strugling at the minute keeping to a course - i click on something at the beginning - say - mountain ride , then i ride and don't touch anything , but everytime i come to a junction it sends me the wrong way ! - i dont have a map so i don't know i have gone wrong till too late

Lee, User error no doubt!
Zwift blog has printable maps or there’s a map on Zwift link and Zwift o references too.
So, you and dean are interested hopefully others too.
There’s a suggestion the draft works up to and including 4% so good to tuck in as a group not just on flat but over and beyond the bridge.

View attachment 381730 You clearly not trying hard enough!

Strava cc times so;
Watopia kom above.
Not sure if Lee’s is done on pro or not.
OK fellas that's not the proper segment for epic kom. It's ballpark but the only segments that actually replicate your zwift times are ones with (ZwiftBlog verified) in the title.
See if this works:- https://www.strava.com/segments/11596903?filter=overall
284 watts for 22:17 for me. I should be able to find another 20-30 watts so reckon 21 mins is good target. I race KISS Americas AM when I can and they went up the mountain 2 days ago but unfortunately I was at work.

I did my first TT race in Zwift today - enjoyed it (in a masochist kind of way!), was a bit like a bkool race! Having done a bkool race yesterday though, it was really obvious how much more resistance Zwift applies on the flat and descents - had to drop down a gear even on 1-2%descents sometimes and definitely on the flat.

Results aren't on Zwift power though so I guess not all race results go on there?

I use a Scosche rhythm+ as my preferred hrm. It's optical, dual band (Ant+/BLE, no expensive Apple Ant+ dongle required for their products) and goes over the arm. Not cheap (can be found for about £50-55), but it has been reliable and accurate, in comparison to a chest strap hrm (I have garmin, and wahoo chest straps). If you are going for a chest strap I'd go for the wahoo as they are also dual band (Ant+/BLE).
