If it was sprinkled with Bkool fairy powder, then its going to take a big effort to top it.

Btw I was looking at the gradients, I see lots of 10%, is that the case when riding it?

Oh yes and it feels it too. A different experience to the KOM.
You should get on with it Andy^_^ and dean and Lee too.

I was just noticed when i ride Alpe d'huez with Bkool Simulator, time wasn't not much different what it was when i ride Alpe du Zwift. Okay, 2 minutes faster was with Bkool and bit better avg power output. Trainer was different then but i guess comparable sessions enough.

No there was no fairy dust as such - I just meant the limitations of the trainer to replicate steep gradients. I just don't know whether zwift slows me down enough to compensate. Anyway, it was a hard effort - one day I'll have a trainer with a PM and try to beat it so I'll let you know then!

306th our of approx 8000 attempts!
Pretty bloody impressive
I'm 7300 out of 9000 :surrender:

Time of 82 minutes which, given I've not ridden for a couple of weeks for various reasons, and within 20 minutes today my asthma kicked in. Couldn't get HR below 170 even though I didn't feel I was pushing too hard. If I can get my asthma under control i should be able to knock a few minutes off easy. Next target is then sub 80 min :training:

And now?

The bkool route might be longer. The Zwift route is shorter than the usual TDF route, finishing, I think, 2km earlier.

Good strong ride from Carl with a finish that suggests he could have gone even faster.
Bkool Smart Pro 1 now. When i ride Alpe d'huez 2015 with Bkool Sim it was 12,3km long and Alpe du Zwift is about 12,1km long, so not much difference.

Cheers Bob. Asthma was playing up so I had to take it easy for most of the ride and try and keep my HR below 170. I was riding with a couple of others who I just had to beat hence why I kicked on after the last switchback

Hmmm, I'm 54:14 for the BKool Alpe D'Huez segment in Strava, and I'm not sure I could go any faster ... Unless I was only rising the Alpe D'Huez rather thean the complete Col Du Sarenne

I have ridden the bkool Alp segment on my old pro a few times but they are not showing so no way to compare rides and turbos.

Its got the 21 bends. I'd smash the first 5 miles  Then:B)

Jeff has set a time of 1hr16. Given he is nearer to my weight than Bob. I've got a target to go at.
I'm not sure if that's legit or not. Resistance on the kickr didn't feel right (not enough) at all during the ride.

The plan was to hang out at around 200W for the ride in the hopes that I wouldn't destroy my legs giving me a chance to follow-up and ride it again today. I largely accomplished that goal with a 220W average for the climb. My HR battery died early in the climb, but it didn't ever feel like I was approaching the red line.

Sadly, I've felt like crap all day. So I wasn't able to sneak in another attempt prior to vacation time with the family. Oh well.
