Stage-2 seems to be confusing stage. It looks easy on paper but speed, curvy hill blast and sticky draft do damage.
My time during the ride compared to Andy's is interesting and shows clearly where I lost the group and Andy pulled away (about 21km in). Also shows that Andy blasted off the line and it took the best part of 8km to catch him up. The last section, 30km to the end I caught up a bit which probably reflects me finding the odd rider to draft with but Andy being on his own.
As Andy says, can be difficult to pick your pack out especially as the ride goes on. can't quite work out who is on your lap (and hence likely to be going at your pace) or being lapped (and hence too slow). To be fair though, the last 2 laps I was happy with any help I could get
