There is no let up in average pace with ramps to peak effort also so many riders scattered all over the course, nearly impossible to pick your pack out

Yes i understand. You and @Whorty did a very good ride. You cross the finish line nearly same time with Chris Pritchard.

My time during the ride compared to Andy's is interesting and shows clearly where I lost the group and Andy pulled away (about 21km in). Also shows that Andy blasted off the line and it took the best part of 8km to catch him up. The last section, 30km to the end I caught up a bit which probably reflects me finding the odd rider to draft with but Andy being on his own.

As Andy says, can be difficult to pick your pack out especially as the ride goes on. can't quite work out who is on your lap (and hence likely to be going at your pace) or being lapped (and hence too slow). To be fair though, the last 2 laps I was happy with any help I could get

All what you say is true. I think length of a volcano circuit is even more confusing. It is short but when there is no help available it start to feel much longer what it is.

I think his channel is mostly full of videos of his live stream races on zwift. Some test videos too like which bike is faster to top of alpe du zwift, weight cheating ”very valuable” etc...
