I was in a local masseur today so i let my "muscles" rest today and do that stage-3 later this week.
I'll do stage 3 at some time this week ... tomorrow I may have another go at a double Alpe  I was below 78kg this morning so a few more Alpe climbs this week should see me closer to 77kg and able to reduce the weight in Zwift :wahhey: I'm hoping to be there by the end of the week :okay:

Are you gonna try twice again with 100% difficulty?. That's a good challenge, for me 75% difficulty is enough challenge. What kind of gear ratio you have?.

Yes, I'll try twice at 100%. First climb definitely 100% and will start second at 100% too and then reduce to 80% if I feel the need as I'm climbing. I think if I start slower this time I should be able to do it. Gearing is 50/34 front and 11/32 (or is it 30 ... not sure) back. It's a Shimano 9 speed. 14% gradients are OK on this gearing.

My gear ratio is 52/36 front and 11-28 cassette. I think i ride pretty close with same difficulty when i have 75% and yours is 100% or close with your ratio. Last time when i was ride to alpe i had 1 backup gear to midpoint and after that i need to use smallest gear more often.

Hmm mixed feelings, got a 2nd place on zwiftpower on a small 3R flat race (C) but feel like more people might be upgraded. Should have beaten the current 1st in the final sprint as i basically sat in all ride.

Power definitely down despite the placing - only 9 riders on zwiftpower. 3W/Kg (which is a bit disappointing over a 26 min race) 2.9W/Kg best 20min power which...makes no sense to me.

Think i need to get outside and ride soon to keep the motivation.

My legs feel broken. Yesterday and today's workouts have put a serious strain on my muscles. My right leg just above the knee on the left front feels really sore at the moment. I may take a day off and try the slow cadence workout on Wednesday. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Just finished the 7.00pm ToW Stage 3 - sheesh, were there some people moaning! I guess workouts aren't for everyone and there is a bit of learning curve (spin up before sprints etc) but flippin' eck there was some mitherin'. I really enjoyed it, but then I like workouts and I totally get the 'showcase everything Zwift has to offer' aspect, including an actual race coming up ^_^

Yeah, it was strange but nice riding with Martin:smile:
Jon’s mix has a tough first 20 min but settles down nicely. They Could have thrown some over and unders in for the second sweet spot -now that would have got people moaning!

Dropped into a 2-2.5 ride and struggled to ride at less than 2.5! Jon’s mix had clearly fired the legs up. Kept going off the front without trying as my legs looked for 3w/k

Edit. Mitherin’ is a great word

Use a roller? If not get one and use it and in the meantime perhaps light stretching and a bit of ice.

I do stretches already, mainly calves and hamstrings as that where I normally get tight. I've now got to add the fronts now

I'll look at rollers, in fact I had one in my amazon list awhile back but never pulled the trigger .

Off to attempt another double Alpe du Zwift today if anyone fancies a pootle. Be on about 13:30 and expect to be riding for about 3 hours, so if anyone can't get into the Alpe section but fancies a climb come and join me  Hoping to leave the realism at 100% for (most of) the second climb too today :surrender:
