Decided to do a longer ride this afternoon instead. 2 1/2 hours with realism set to 100% and in the gearing of my SS bike. even climbed Box and Keith Hills .... flip, they were grinds in SS mode  Average cadence up Box hill was 53. Average up Keith was 44  Flip, no wonder Keith hurt so much :banghead: Those 10+% sections were hard to say the least

Very pleased though. Average 30.8 kph (19.1 mph) and climbed 677 metres (I think ToC is about 950 metres).

Didn't feel too bad when I finished. Could easily have gone on further if I wasn't hungry and had water (I rode all that on 1 bottle of plain water)

is @bridgy on his holibobs ? aint seen him for a bit
I wish!! No, just busy at work during the day and busy every evening this week being a football Dad taxi! Taking the boys to the cinema tomorrow night so that's written off for cycling too.

I did manage to fit in a couple of of very pleasant real world rides at the weekend on the road and mountain bike - but nothing like some of the really big rides you and several others managed!

I will try and get stage 4 done over the weekend and then hopefully next week normal business will resume

Well Kickr no 2 rocked up today but couldn’t get it set up in time for TOW. Gave it an hour spin I forgot how quiet they are supposed to be after my other one must have got progressively noisier.
Looks like rain here Saturday so will try to fit stage 4 in then.

41:13 for me. Not much in the tank tonight after work so no complaints really.

Well done all !
Bah! 48:10 today. Worse than my 47:30 from Tuesday. Goal was to not go out as hard, but sustain better, particularly on the hills. I thought I did a reasonable job at that, but I must have lost oodles of time on the flatter sections.

Same average power, slightly less NP. Hr was seriously jacked up Tuesday, but came back into the normal racing range today.

I'll probably have another go at it tomorrow. It feels like I should be doing better on this course.

Maybe have a rest day or two before trying again. I've found making time for recovery is having good effects on my performance.

Also, in Zwift races (or these group ride/races) getting a fast start makes a big difference in my opinion even though it hurts
