I've been away from the forum for a bit - hope everyone's OK

I see the ZRL returns on 28th September - I'd be up for entering a team I think if we can get the numbers together again? (if this has been discussed in detail already, apologies - just point me in the right direction!)

I'm just recvering from a bad back and for a number of reasons I haven't been on the bike much recently so I will be very rusty to say the least - but hopefully 28th September gives enough time to at least start to get fit again!

So who's up for it?

I’m up for it if we can get a team together. Maybe post it in the private groups as I don’t know who’s active at the moment either, but you get an email notification if someone posts in those groups, so it’s a good way of rattling the cage so to speak.

Hi guys I’ve not been keeping up with the forum since mine and lee’s ventoux trip really. I managed to talk Bob into velodrome riding and kind of got fully engrossed in that. So I don’t know if anyone else has taken a look at or designed new CC club jerseys?

move to the sticks mate- less people so less competition and you can get that london victorian smog out your lungs - youll be flying
not up here though - a new club (velo elite ) are eating all the koms like a swarm of locusts

We have Andrew Feather down here taking the KoMs .... even on a motorbike I'd still be second! This isn't a long hill but has 18% ramps.

but I can't imagine that's right...
(I'm not going to be racing on Wednesday anyway because it's my 40th birthday and I've got more fun things to do...)

Looks more like, off the cliff into the sea (twice) doesn’t it.

I don't believe so.

I was waiting to see what Rapha came up with. But I checked a couple of days ago and they’ve permanently closed their custom design department. So I’ve emailed a few other companies that have a good track record making team kit. Pearl izumi, Santini & Girodana. So hopefully they get back to us with some prices soon. In the mean time I had another idea. I’ve seen on the rapha site they’re going to release some limited edition jerseys in the next month or so. I thought if people like the designs, we could choose one, and then get our club name & names printed onto the jersey ourselves. @bridgy has a place near him that he’s used in the past and the print came out very well.

It’s just an idea of course. But it could make the ordering and design process a lot more straight forward. And because they’re limited edition they will be relatively exclusive to us. The jersey would cost £85. I thought we could then get some team socks produced from another company to finish off the kit.

Yes. He's the Hill Climb Champion I'm in 'GCN' land as they are based in Bath and I'm within about 90 mins cycling distance away.

Hmmm, The only Rapha kit I've ever liked was the Cormet de Roselend kit in Zwift!

Paria do kits I think and you can get the whole lot etc and buy more in the future with not further cost etc? Worth a look?
