Its wierd I can’t find this event on the companion app. But the one that’s showing now is volcano flat, as opposed to the volcano climb I first saw yesterday.

Slightly confusingly, there are two different H&H style handicap races tomorrow (Thursdya) night at 19.30 UK time @<Tommy> . There's the "British Triathlon Summer Series" one you originally mentioned which is 22.8km on the Volcano Climb course, and there's the "Sportive Breaks Handicap Race" which is 26.6km on the pretty flat Innsbruckring course.

So it's a choice of flat or hilly really......

I’d prefer the hilly one but I’m easy. I don’t really mind the end result I just need to put an effort in to see where I’m at. Or more realistically how much work I’ve got to do over the next few weeks. I guess that’s the same for most of us

Eurrggh... Not the 40th birthday I'd envisioned - my eldest son brought the gift of Covid to the Melville household! Had the joy of an outing to a car park behind the Bet365 stadium to shove a swab up my nostrils... Then fretting about childcare for the next 10 days... FFS!

It looked really interesting until I got to the bit about two of the races being on Saturday evenings and a third being on a Friday. I guess they’re trying to avoid competing directly with the wrtl. But it’ll have me competing with the dog for her basket if a tried to negotiate that one…

I do like the look of the concept though. Hopefully it takes off.
