All jokes (And results) aside. It was good to blow the cobwebs off last night wasn’t it. The power numbers weren’t great to say the least but the only way is up as they say!

Ignoring for the moment that this was quite a soft/easy race really (as confirmed by power figures!)

Yes, us C's were riding much too slow on the flats. I tried to pull some along, but it seems as every time I went up around 3.5wkg I started to distance the group. They were probably just saving themselves for the climb, where I knew I would be dropped anyway.

I train on Sunday evenings but I’m going to see if I can manage both. Will you race in B cat Michael?

I think I'll start in C as don't want to completely destory myself, have a sportive Sunday week but after that will try a B race to see if I can stay with the pace
