.... hmmm. I break out in a cold sweat when I see stuff like this. Wendy is the power tools person in our household.
Same here Martin .. having flooded a kitchen and bathroom, and blown the fuses in a house changing a light fitting, Rach wouldn't let me do anything else. And if anyone ever comes to my house, don't be fooled by any shelving as it's purely decorative .. it serves no safe, practical use whatsoever

Was out riding a few weeks ago, got a puncture, chap in the house opposite clearly saw me struggling and came out and changed the inner tube for me

Let's talk chains!

How often do you replace your chain on your Zwift machine? I usually try to replace my road chains every 1500-2000 miles, but I'm guessing that on my Neo 2T the chain will last a fair bit longer than that.

How do you guys lubricate your chains on your Zwift bikes? I'd thought that, without having loads of road crap on the chain, it wouldn't degenerate into an oily black mess like road bike chains can... I've been using Finish Line dry lube on my Zwift setup, but would I be better off with a wax lube?

Get a chain checker tool legs. You can’t really put a specific mileage on a chain, there’s too many variables. It’s better to check it periodically.

I’d stick with the lube you're using it's good enough and very little hassle to apply. Which you won’t have to do very often on the turbo.

About once in a year and cassette as well.

For now i use Finnish made products Rex Domestique, i have also Rex Black Diamond but not used that yet. I check every 500km do i need to lube. I also rotate cranks backward with hands to feel how sensitive it feels. Good methode to find out do i need to clean drivetrain as well.

Once in 4 years :okay:

Cos i dont use it

No, really only once, keep it well oiled. No road dirt to grind away the bearings (if you can call them that on a cycle chain)

I've spent a very frustrating day trying to remove 20 year old wallpaper border from our bedroom....

Some pieces come off realitvely easily whilst other pieces seem to be attached with cement and take the plasterboard paper off with it....

I have a Sensah groupset on the turbo bike. I got an extra cassette and three chains. Change chain every 500Km, sprocket @ 1500Km, then reuse the chains.

I've stuck with the factory lube as it's not going to see outside.

The visuals on that do seem better.

It’s funny though, isn’t it. With the way it is now I notice that avatars “ride through” each other in a large pack which isn’t very realistic. With the new visuals I notice that the riders are completely upright the entire time, no leaning round corners or slight rocking with pedal strokes.

Guess I’m a typical Zwifter - never happy 🤣

Anything that gets rid of that sticky draft gets my vote .. and also the jagged left/right movements of riders that has come in recently that is also bloody annoying

Quality of graphic depends lot of hardware. AppleTV doesn't do miracles and probably MacBook Pro either but high end pc give a best quality. Pack dynamics is very welcome update, Zwift looks bit more realistic.
