I'm doing the Socks4Watts hill climb at 18:45. But maybe in the future? We'll see.Do a 20-minute effort and you'll add another 5-10W onto that! Fast Fridays TT at 9pm tomorrow?![]()

Hahaha, so a race on Monday, TT on Wednesday, hill climb on a Friday and then another TT on Saturday morning? You want to kill me?Newbury Velo 9am Saturday?
Don’t get me wrong , we used to try to do handicap races every now and then and they were fun but rarely did they work with people setting off at different times - really makes you work , but sometimes it seemed like someone would have a blinding race and be streets aheadAww, c'mon... Despite being on the receiving end of weight/kit differences I don't think I would enjoy an event where everything is normalised. It's all these little differences that make the races more fun. If you did 5k miles on Zwift and have better kit - you deserve it and should use it. If you're bigger and more muscular and that gives you an advantage on flats and downhills - again, use it and pray I don't get you on the hill![]()
Well it’s 24 hours later and I think it’s finally caught up to me!
My two rounds of AstraZeneca, apart from soreness for a few days around the actual injection site, I had no side effects at all. This jab looked to be going the same way, but from about 3pm onwards, my whole upper arm and shoulder felt super stiff like I’d been carrying too much. Then within an hour I just completely ran out of energy and feel like I could sleep for days. Good job I’m working from home tomorrow (was in the office today).

Since we're done with this edition of the TdS, I can do a TT on Wednesday or Thursday next week.
All this waiting for spreadsheet !! I hope it’s spectacular 😁
What do people think of the system of handicap using weight ? Divide ftp by 3.2 to get new weight ? Used in RGT but don’t know if would work in Zwift 🤷♂️
I've just moved from Zwift on W10/11 to Apple 4K Smart-box.Such a difference!Loads instantly, looks much sharper, saves space on the laptop plus has Zwift companion without the need to use the iphone app
Peloton are doing a 2 month free trial on their app. It's OK.Not sure I'd subscribe at £12.99pm but as an alternative to Zwift once a week it's not as bad as I thought.Works with most smart trainers.
I normally (with permission from the Mrs) go on R*******e to look at scantily clad women getting a sweat onPeloton are doing a 2 month free trial on their app.It'sOK.OK.Not sure I'd subscribe at £12.99pm but as an alternative to Zwift once a week it's not as bad as I thought.Works with most smart trainers.
I have a dedicated indoor bike(Proform TDF) so swapping bikes isn't a problemBig fan of Apple TV. Just so handy and neat. The remotes a joke and if you want to bike switch it's a mare but that doesn't impact on my life too much

Why not give a try?!Don’t get me wrong , we used to try to do handicap races every now and then and they were fun but rarely did they work with people setting off at different times - really makes you work , but sometimes it seemed like someone would have a blinding race and be streets ahead
Just wondered if we took the av power from the tt and divided it by 3.2 ( number used on RGT - don’t ask me why ) it gives you a new weight in kg and in theory should have us all sticking together but working at max
Would change advantages so bigger blokes fly up hills but get caught on the downhill
But only a suggestion and not fussed either way 👍
