Bloody hell that's some going is that! How did you find the distance? Arse sore now? Were you drafting for any of it?
Oh, it was an absolute draft fest for most of the time.

First part was a 25-lap Volcano group ride at 2.4W/kg. Was advertised as less but leaders weren't great at restraining the pace. The group wasn't massive but the draft was good.

Once that was finished I stayed in Watopia and went to the desert to find the C cat. pace partner. That took a while and then I wasn't quick enough with my U-turn so had some bridging to do. Got there in the end. Worst part by far was that later on I haven't noticed that my avatar wanted to go in a different direction on an intersection and I ended up going towards Downtown instead of sticking to the Flats. Had to do a U-turn again and catch the group once more. Absolutely massive group, possibly 300-400 riders?

Arse was annoying me during the ride but now is completely fine. Legs sore as hell though. The distance? Not gonna lie... Got a bit emotional once I got the 100-mile mark. Was happy that I've done it and happy that it's over. Downed 3 litres of isotonic drinks, 5 energy gels as well as some gummy snakes and almonds.

Considering that my longest ever ride before this was around 65k I'm really quite happy. Interested to see how I'm going to feel tomorrow.

Like lead. In a couple of days with rest, absolutely awesome.

Those are the type if rides that give you the punch late on in races.

Congratulations doing a 100 miler, something of a milestone. Ive not done that many, probably 6, but each memorable 👍

Awesome! Take a break for couple of days, perhaps a really low wattts rides next day or so to stop the legs seizing up and then pick a race. Bet you hit a nice new ftp👍

This is by no means a coach related regime !
Others on here are doing coach stuff and it really works , I haven’t had the mindset to do that and do my own thing - think that you are improving at a brilliant rate and maybe finding the right path it will continue - if only we knew what that path is ! - someone will 😁

Feel absolutely knackered - just ordered three large pizzas

I did 5, 10 & 25 laps of Volcano, 100km, 100mi and 100 ride ons received in one activity  Didn't think I can last the distance, still kind of can't believe it.
Also planning to do the 25 laps of the Volcano this afternoon, although I'm not going to stretch it to 100 miles unlike @Peter Salt - not sure I've got the legs for that! It will get me my 100km badge as well - while I have done a metric century on Zwift, it was while I was on a trial membership due to letting my subscription expire, so I didn't get the badge.

Event is the Invictus Challenge at 4pm and is all one category (E), so there's no one set pace to go at. Having said that, there's already over 400 people signed up, so I'm pretty sure there'll always be a pack at whatever pace I choose to go at and even if I get dropped, I only have to wait 7-8 minutes for them to come back round again!
