My wife's away, the weekend after next. I'm thinking about doing some long Zwift sessions in the evenings after my boys have gone to bed. That would mean I would have from about 8pm onwards. The lads get up at about 6am, so I don't really want to be up past midnight... I'll probably be looking to ride the 4 hours on Friday night, and do something shorter and gentler on the Saturday night. I'm carrying 4-5kg of Christmas excess so I won't be setting the world alight with w/kg prowess!

I've done the Uber Pretzel, so I don't really feel motivated to do the Mega Pretzel or the plain original Pretzel. I don't have enough time for a PRL Full. PRL Half seems a bit half-arsed.

I suppose I could ride with Coco for 4 hours and see if I can chalk up the 100-mile badge, or see if I can ride three ascents of AdZ with negative splits. Any other ideas? Apart from TdZ events, there's nothing on the calendar yet, but I'm open to the idea of doing a group ride.

That's a really good shout. I already removed everything, have baking soda at hand and a proper pressure washer - will give it a go before it gets dark.

Wot, 3x Ven-Top? I'm not sure there's quite enough time for that: up and down takes 1:45-2:00
Well 2 attempts.

Cool - do you know if that's a regular thing, though? I looked at 'Last week' and people seemed to be finishing in 2:31-2:50, which doesn't seem likely for a 180km event.

The description talks about 100km even though the stated distance is 180km - so no idea I'm afraid. It would give you company for much of your time I guess.

Boys, I'd like you to meet Tracy. She's been through a lot but is on track to make a full recovery:

The orange bits are discoloured and there are a few chips here and there but other than that good as new ;) Doesn't stink anymore so keeping her indoors from now on.
Nice colours! I like the idea of a fresh build but don't think I've got the skills.
