A friend of mine is selling his very nice, barely used 3 year old Santa Cruz Stigmata gravel/CX bike if anyone's in the market for one - I can vouch for the very low mileage he's done on it (possibly partly due to my failure to get a gravel bike myself and go gravel riding with him, much to his annoyance!)

Anyway, very nice bike in excellent condition https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/445114313774143/

Feel free to DM me if interested and have any questions

Steve.

I can be a substitute for anyone not being available.

Im a D cat , just nudging bottom end C W/kg numbers.

Ill update my weight this week on ZP which would probably officially make me C .

I will wait for others with better numbers to take the official last team spot.
We've already got I think three riders who are officially D's, so don't worry about your numbers - you'll fit right in!

Our main problem at the moment is that while we've got a lot of people signed up to the squad, there's very few who are available every single week, due to work/appointments/family (I'm one of the guilty parties here), plus a few still coming back from injuries, so if you're happy to ride you'd be in the mix to be rider #6 as many weeks as you feel you want to.

Not fair! All I got was other bikes

1st attempt at alpe zwift today , took it a bit too steady at the start as i have never done anything similar so i reckon i can knock a bit off easily .

Nice! Haven't tackled it myself. Definitely on the 'to do' list once my leg is sorted.

By the way, bike done:

Reused bar tape looks good :becool: Handlebars, pedals and cables are the only brand new parts. Total cost around £450, including the tools I was missing.

Some big aero chinese wheels and it will looks the mutz;)

Lightbicycle do cracking wheels. Got a pair of rims from them.

I got a pair built £650 with Hope hubs. Local wheelbuilder sorted the build.

Overall weight is 7.7kg - but yeah, that includes a £30, 1.9kg set of wheels that I got from ReCycle. Great shop with loads of used parts (not my photo):

As well as a 350g saddle

Will maybe get a lighter saddle after I do a proper bike fit. As for the wheels - unless they break, will be looking to upgrade after a few thousand miles. Poetry in Motion has been recommended locally.

@cyberknight With your weight, easily sub 1 hour.

Rule of thumb is you need to maintain >3.2W/kg ave to complete less than 60 mins
its a work in progress , for the 1st half i didnt go above 145 bpm hovering around 2.3 w/ kg the second half i was around 2.6-2.8 so theres a fair way to go but its doable . My Vam was 788 and looking at google a contender to win IRL is double !
I dont have the all round fitness atm as today was the 1st day i could ride without a sling ( just in time for the operation )
