Joffey, I think you're mixing SPD with SPD-L The latter are road cleats, the former are comfortable walk-able MTB shoe cleats.

Plus they hardly wear out. Just swapped my original cleats after 8 years of use.

That's rapid!:bicycle:You'll knock another couple of minutes off that next time, I'd wager.

FWIW the fastest guy at the Olympic Velodrome on saturday was running spd eggbeaters-super light weight too. And a nice pair of what looked like Shimano RX8 gravel shoes. Also lightweight.

Training coming along nicely Joffey👍

Knees are FUBAR but I don't like to mention it
I've gone from Shimano to Look and back to SPD ... Giro Rumble for me on the tandem, and Planet X Carbon MTBon the road bike ... Garmin Rally MTB conversion pedals ... From Garmin Vectors ... No way are the Rally's worth over a grand!! Pair of Vectors and the conversion kit ... Job done.

Where my pedal-wrench-inna-scaffolding-tube failed, my LBS have apparently succeeded, so my Zwifting machine will be back later today. 👍

CX men’s elite starts in ten minutes guys. Anyone with GCN+ get it on now!!

So excited, and fingers crossed for Tom Pidcock. Will he get a better opportunity with not WvA or MvDP?!

I persuaded Wendy to watch this with me last night and she really enjoyed it :okay: Great performance.

Me and the wife watched it towards midnight. She enjoyed it too ^_^

It really suited a lighter rider, and the top 3 were smaller than the power house riders.

I'd like to believe Pidcock's form and the course terrain would have seen him beat VDP and VA too :okay:

heart rate was 160 bpm from the start rather than 140 so i was keeping it on the edge right from the off rather than taking it easy , i guess im more of a deisel rather than an classic climber
