Proposed stages of Tour De Splitters #2.
Tried to get a mix of terrains to suit everyone. Last time, finishing on an ITT worked well as various people had small time gaps to try and make up on others, and it's the "race of truth"! Also, being on TT bikes, people can do it alone if they can't make the final stage for some reason.
As mentioned above, any complaints will be dealt with by my "enforcer" @<Tommy> who's prepared to be slightly less diplomatic than me when the cat-herding becomes difficult!
19:45 on Tuesday nights, starting the week after the last stage of ZRL?

Thanks Steve - it's OK I'm not worried about it going on ZP anyway - quite glad it isn't!It is possible to add a private event (e.g. a club ride) to ZwiftPower apparently, but there's a few hoops to jump through. There's a thread about it here (https://forums.zwift.com/t/group-ride-not-showing-on-zp/570632/4), although it doesn't have a ton of detail on it; might need to experiment with the first round and see how it goes:
Oh no, what have I done 🤦♂️Bloody hell - some hills 😳
Nice selection boss
Sounds great, Carl.Day 1 ride in Tenerife done ... bloody hell I'm shattered. Nearly fell off bike when got to Villafor .. one of the guys took bike off me and I had to sit down for 5 mins. Never done a real climb before, only virtual stuff ...... didn't feel any harder on the legs (yes, they were equally shot), but the air, bike position, vibrations, concentration, all made it much more challenging.
Tomorrow is a long 70km day, and Tuesday is the big one up Teide. To be honest, at the moment, I'd be surprised if I can make the whole climb. Including descent it will be 7+ hours in the saddle which is longer than I've ever ridden. But, I'll give it a good go and enjoy as far as I can make it before I blow up!

Sounds like a good day👍

? I assume you're in a shared lodge type accommodation
Didn't the new categorisation enforcement small print say something along the lines of "Zwift will not see your club results"?Presuming Club races won't appear on Zwiftpower like meetups don't? Does anyone know this is definitely the case?
As far as i know, anything what isn’t public doesn’t appear to zwiftpower.Presuming Club races won't appear on Zwiftpower like meetups don't? Does anyone know this is definitely the case?
Crikey, do you know the room number and phone extension?!Big hotel.
Paradise Fun style, Los Cristianos Tenerife south
In an all inclusive hotel. But as cycling every day there won't be any partying. I'll be in bed early to recover.Sounds great, Carl.
Good luck with the rest of the week. Perhaps this is a silly question, but do you have anything other than riding planned? And what's the atmosphere in the group like? I assume you're in a shared lodge type accommodation. Are they cycling monks all stretching and getting early nights each evening or is there some socialising and boozing going on?
