Knees are FUBAR but I don't like to mention it
A quick read suggests a saddle pointing up can cause lower back pain, which I do struggle with on long rides (3+ hours)...
I can confirm this ... I also noticed the same with it pointing down :cursing:

Although my lower back is FUBAR anyway, so it might be just me 😭

I've just checked on a category enforcement race and I'm now eligible for C again (until now C has been disabled on cat enforcement). So whatever effort I did that pushed me over the limit seems to have expired. Happy days are here again
Id like to get nearer 3W/kg which means I need around 13 Watts over race distance at current weight. Weight- I'd need to drop another 7kg to attain same W/kg. Im looking at maybe 3-5kg further loss, which would make me the lightest since my teenage days.

It might have to wait till summer for longer rides to build a bit more endurance . Too busy with new home to dedicate anything more than a hour rides

You've improved a lot lately. I remember finishing behind you in the first race of the first Tour de Splitters and being quite annoyed as I did 2.4W/kg and you did 2.2

Just thought I’d say,

@berty bassett another stonking series mate, congrats on the clean sweep! 💪💪

Very well done to @bridgy aka ‘Mr Consistent’ too on another podium 👍👍

And @Rich A, for a brilliant debut series, consistently beating lots of the more seasoned racers to grab the 3rd step! Really well done mate 👍

And well done of course to anyone who won their personal duals further down the order.

First proper B race in a long while. 10 lap Crit City. As expected dropped mid race, but I expected that. What I wanted, was to be pushed to work harder than previously.

I lasted 6 laps from 10 came 31/52at the finish. The placing result largely irrelevant.

What I did get was a higher Wattage for a 6 lap PB segment. A higher cadence and a heart rate that wasn't max'd out.

Onto next week to hopefully hang in for longer.

Oh I did get lapped by the pack that dropped me-the shame:laugh:

I will go to ride France R.G.V route. My plan is ride most of a time easier except when sprint segments comes, then I will try to push clearly harder but not necessarily all out.

Went to the local animal rescue to donate some leftover food from our late cat. Had to fill up...
