Only happens the once after a freewheel - something sticking I think , then catching in place a bit later , does sound like tommy could be right about the grease around the pawls , either too much or not enough
Wouldn’t have thought bearing noise as too predictable - it is simple to take hub and cassette off , but like said , not really up to you to do it
I would have a go if it was me but I like tinkering

God knows I am no bike mechanic 😁 but seen lots of vids on YT of NEO owners complaining about a clunk , blaming the magnets and it sometimes turned out to be the cassette wasn’t on properly. My tuppence👍

I won't be able to complete the TT, unfortunately. Had an old friend from uni stay over last night which was great, but ruled out any riding last night and today! 🥴

I did get my saddle level today though @<Tommy> @bobinski 😇

Got a techical question regarding new wheels. I get a clunk sound/feeling fairly frequently (approx 50% of the time) after starting to turn the cranks (not at hub engagement, usually a second or two after).

Three examples in this short vid, the loudest/clearest is the final one at approx 1:30:

The first couple of times it happened I thought it might just be "bedding in" and didn't think much of it, but isn't getting less frequent. Not sure if this is something to raise with Wiggle (problem with the hub?), just something to expect with an entry level hub, or possibly an issue with the way something has been fitted (seems unlikely but I've sent the vid to the mechanic anyway). Any thoughts?

My first thought was do you need a spacer but upon listening to the video you aren’t peddling so it shouldn’t be that.

I’d just speak to Wiggle, they will probably just send you a replacement if you send the video. That doesn’t sound right.

I got my first (and last) WKG tag on ZwiftPower last night - I did a C race on Climber’s Gambit. Because it was a mixed cat race, I got in with the As and Bs at the beginning and stuck with them until halfway up Titan’s Grove, the second climb. Then able to reel in a couple more dropped Bs (even an A who was racing down as B) on the climb up the Epic. I wouldn’t say I felt fantastic, but I averaged 263 and my best 20 minutes was 280, and I didn’t completely fall apart at the end. Looking forward to rebuilding the fitness and pushing the numbers further upwards…

What a smashing series. Wasn't feeling great for all races but ended up doing them anyway - glad I did. Going into the next season of ZRL feeling better prepared than I thought.

Thanks @bridgy for the great course selection and general organisation; congrats on the podium finish. Well done @berty bassett - a well-deserved clean sweep. Brilliant spreadsheets @IrishAl ! Thanks everyone for the companionship and competitiveness, it was good fun.

Yeah good fun racing each other isn't it? Always good personal battles to be had wherever you are on GC - it's all about personal improvement at teh end of the day (and a bit of fun and banter!)

The only shame was that so few of us managed to do every stage - including me, so I'm definitley not judging anyone for that!

Thanks a lot for excellent spreadsheet work @IrishAl - maybe ONE DAY Zwift will do this sort of thing for us, you never know!

Roll on ZRL....
