Just a normal club ride on Saturday, over to Frensham ponds which are fresh water lakes with sandy beaches.....

Going to build up the Tripster with its aero wheels this weekend. Also wife wants to go out on her ebike so I'll be charging them up. Our friends have moved into a property 8 miles away so It will be nice to roll over on the bikes to meet up

Just signed on for a summer CX race on 7th of June!

I’m both excited and nervous about it. I think it’s a it less competitive and easier terrain than the winter stuff so a good way to try it out 🙂

Bit dusty and rear brake poor after nearly 3 years stored away.

On charge for Di2. Tyres set at 60psi, but feel too hard, so may drop 50-55psi

I've cycled up there ... well, partway up before I lost traction and fell over ala @bobinski !

Well the Cinder Track was good fun. Here are a few pics:

And most importantly...

Not the most taxing of routes but a good mix of terrain and plenty of dogs to avoid! Worth a go if you are ever in Scarborough or Whitby with a gravel bike!

The fish chips and mushy peas looks lovely, and the views aren't bad either. Did you get the crunchy bits of chips and batter as well?

Sadly not! Got what was given as it was very busy today in Scarborough!

Summer CX is great fun and less competitive than the traditional winter series.
Can be a real dust fest so I'd recommend some glasses.
