Been a while since I last tried Rouvy, but doesn't it have something similar to Zwift's trainer difficulty?

At least you have the option of pick an ERG workout and then pick your route scenery, if on a smart trainer, to then get resistance on descents.

I can highly recommend Road To Hell video on Rouvy, I used it as a recce for my first attempt a few years ago, Rouvy includes a section closer to Denbigh town centre than the real life segment but my times were very similar over the climb segment.

I guess it’s not a prob in work out mode. You have to ideally download the route too. I like how Zwift you just go wherever you want and it’s streamed perfectly. This is where disgruntled ex customers will be coming back to pay the price of no faffing and filling Hard drives up.

All over training, bad start for next year.

Yep, definitely a risk of that.

However, if you take it steady it is only a 2 hr ride daily - and can be at easy pace.

I've never done the Rapha 500 before but have entered it this year - much, much easier indoors.

The bkool thread is now essentially a rouvy thread with a decent amount of people moved over if you haven't already checked it out. I only tried the free version once didn't particularly like it, the uncanny valley/polar express graphics were a bit of a turn off. That said didn't try a race which was a bit silly

Yes my chances of doing this whilst the children are small are zero. When they are a bit older I suspect it'll still hover around zero lol

My wife and I have a Rouvy joint subscription. She uses it , I dont, because the graphics are low quality. I keep thinking I might jump on and do a famous climb, just never do
