It's been rather windy this year though. You can't take a sierra out in the wind.

That is only half joking, I used to have to drive a pool car that was a sierra sometimes, and I have never known any other car be as badly affected by cross winds.

I quite like that. Not sure about the diesel engine but it's a fun take on a rat rod.

MK1 Mondeo I believe.

I'm reminded of sitting in traffic when the Mondeo first came out. I was sat stationary as one pulled alongside...and I the next lane was a Sierra. The look, windscreen and bonnet lines /angles were extremely similar. The Mondeo looked every inch an evolution of the Sierra.,

Mk1 Mondeo's, didn't they have a sort of elongated narrow rounded edge headlamp? Colleague of mine had an M reg one iirc.
