Well the right drive side bottom bracket cup is now out .

It does look very 'rust-free' around the BB and stays. :thumbsup:

It's mainly dirt and grease from sitting around for so long on the top tube and upper rear stays so will carry on cleaning and see what it comes up like , using a mix of wet baby wipes . white spirit , fine wire wool and cutting compound mainly in that order .

Not in reverse then ? Ending up with the wet wipes to mop your fevered brow ! :whistle:

It's looking a lot better.

I think so as well , still got along way to go yet before it's on the road pounding some mile's

Do you use the fine wire wool on the paintwork?

Looking forward to seeing it up and running. My first real bike was a Dawes Red Feather back in the late sixties.
