The best defence I have ever seen..

Went to England Uruguay last night. Pity it cost my son £500 for the 2 tickets.......(my birthday present).

Easy to see why England are out, disjointed, lacking flair at No 10, discipline, cohesion. That No 8's quite good though - where has he been all tournament?

Much of the team seemed lacking in confidence, I suspect it's been coached out of them - like the England cricketers.

Very magnanimous Dave!
I'm pretty sure that Marmy will be cheering on the England football team in the Euro's next year:whistle:

Yebbut, I'm bigger than that feckin' Scotch bloke. ;)

I have yet to decide which of the finalists I shall be giving my support to - I usually follow the teams who knock Scotland out.

I shall, however, shout "go England" every now and then just to keep you happy. They'll be "going" fairly early on I reckon

6-Nations coming up soon, pal. Don't need to worry 'bout those flashy southern hemisphere teams.

Porridge spoon again for the Scotch.

Fantastic from Ireland. To lose such key players and still come away with a convincing win against France - respect!

It's sad that Japan, who've played some of the best rugby of this tournament are going home after winning three games, and yet Scotland, who have certainly not impressed as much overall, go through, also with three wins... those are the breaks, but I can't help think that it would have been different with better scheduling, (or one more penalty for Samoa!).

Australia have impressed me the most so far. What they did against Wales wasn't entertaining but it was the kind of clinical and disciplined game that makes the difference between being talented and being winners.
