What are you wanting the bike for ? The propel isnt the nicest of bikes to ride according to a mate of mine . If its for racing then perfect but for Sunday club rides a TCR would be better suited .
Fun

For me the AP1, but no “which” bike thread can be allowed without the Cinelli options...

This Superstar is outrageously priced, well north of £2K usually. Endurance geometry, so more fun than fast. At ~£1500 you can upgrade the wheels too.

This Strato Faster is frameset only, but again with the 2018 model normally £2599, this 2016 is a steal at ~£1100 you’d have an amazing bespoke race bike at around £2000.

In the end components don’t matter, buy the one you like the look of.

Get the Di2 one.

I've spoken to quite a few Di2 users over the years and all think it's great - even a couple who told me they were determined not to like it on the test ride.

You have race history so a propel might be fun for you .
The thought of doing the odd club TT did cross my mind but I don’t want to go down the whole TT bike thing again so would just clip on some bars.
So it would be a jack of all trades bike, I don’t generally ride much more than 40 miles, occasionally group rides up to 100 or more things like Dunwich or Ride London but that’s not the norm obviously.
Lack of comfort is an issue but my old Ventura isn’t exactly comfortable!

There’s also this for two grand
Specialised venge vias expert disc Ultegra

Which is a big saving on rrp but not so aero wheels.
And you can’t clip on TT bars due to the shape of the bars.

Personally, this would be it for me. Usually slightly over budget, but a nice discount on a 2018 model:

Yes, it’s 105 so technically a step down, but the rest of it sells itself!

EDIT: Ultegra has 15% off too, if you prefer:

people who havent ridden di2 or etap wouldnt get the clamber towards them - for me if you can get di2 then its a no brainer and the propel is a seriuosly nice looking bike, especially in black with deep section carbon wheels :okay:
