I just got around to making some of these, they’re very nice indeed and SO simple to make! I added a tablespoon of peanut butter to the mixture and some choc chips. Nice and chewy, more like a flapjack, but solid enough not to break apart mid ride

I made up a batch of these when I last had some over-ripe bananas.
I used one and a half cups of rolled oats as I never buy Quick Oats (preferring the coarsest and cheapest),
and substituted soaked currants for the chocolate chips.
There were complaints about "too many currants" but that didn't stop them eating them.
