Do you mean attempt a repair of the frame? I did consider it but a new seat tube would be the only way and it was a later CB, so probably not worth the expense. If it had been a 1960s classic with fancy lugs I probably would have repaired it.
I see what you mean . I saw one in a local auction a couple of years ago, it looked a bit scruffy and in vivid green colour, horrible graphics! I only bid half heartedly .
 
I think my sister has a 'Stang in that color.

C'mon, you must know this!
As a wild teenager living in the Lincolnshire fens, in the autumn/early winter we used to wade out into the creeks on the mudflats with a sort of multi pointed spear . You went with bare feet to feel for flat fish ( Butts ) lying in the mud which you hoped to spear ....we called this "butt - stangin" . Not a pastime for anyone who felt the cold :stop:
