Try microwaving a Cadbury Flake.

It doesn't melt.

No - not trying it - sounds dodgy

waste of a flake whether it melts or not - and who wants to wast a flake!!!!!

But it doesn't melt ! You can eat it just fine.

The magic is that the microwave works by making the water molecules vibrate and this heats the objects up.

No water in the flake so it's impervious to microwaves.

I must say, that really surorises me. Milk is listed as one of the ingredients, and milk certainly contains water.

But I note the wikipedia entry for flake says then when heated, it softens but doesn't melt, while most chocolate would melt.
