I wan't imagining it. Magpies are members of the crow family and they can hold grudges for generations.

Is it only the females that hold grudges through generations, even remembering the specific dates while the males say "ahh sod it, let's move on".

If you use the MOD function to extract the time of day from an Excel timedate, the rounding error created when the time's a recurring decimal fraction of the day is ~5 trillionths of a day different to the rounding error when the same time of day is created any other way. The effect of this is that all the functions like IF, SUMIF etc. that compare two values looking for equality will fail whenever the two times they're comparing contain a recurring decimal.

Two days of tearing my hair out finding why there were 'random' errors in my spreadsheet, which of a multitude of functions was the culprit, and wtf to do to fix it when ROUND didn't work.

(I checked this for a cryptic crossword clue...)

There are 4 groups of migratory fish:
  1. Anadromous (spawn in freshwater; live in sea)
  2. Catadromous (spawn in sea; live in freshwater)
  3. Potamodromous (live and migrate in freshwater)
  4. Oceanodromous (live and migrate in sea)
Some types of fish don't migrate at all - pet goldfish are a perfect example!
