advice on stand

[Old timer]

On my evans the rear brake is down below the frame where I would usually fit a side stand.

Anyone else got a similar set up and can give a pointer to a side stand they are using?

you can get a side stand which fits across the chain stay and seat stay close to the rear dropout. much better for touring bikes where there are rear panniers fitted.

Yes, these are the "best" as far as stands go.

The stand arrived very quickly and I just fitted it. I put some electrical tape on the frame where it clamps on to protect it a bit. 5 minute job and sits nicely out of the way.
