Apparently, my sister just picked up a pair of their cheapo SPD shoes for me. The last pair she bought me has lasted about 5 years but they are finally falling apart.

nice one aldi get a lot of stick for being cheap and shoot but ive bought many a good thing from there. had a pair of shin high hiking boots which were absolutely amazing until i ran the sole through

I've found their gear to be perfectly decent, if unexciting in any regard (apart from price) My fave, much loved and long serving soft shell jacket is an Aldi job.
