Aldi special fish cakes.....so tasty.

My daughter just made us a meal of boiled potatoes with Aldi crispy coated fish cakes (with veg) ......I highly recommend them. Very tasty.

I need a new source of fish cakes since Tesco stopped selling theirs, but there's no Aldi here. I tried some Bird's Eye ones recently, and they were terrible. Just a tasteless slop that was verging on liquid. I tried these too, but their mediocrity far exceeded their value.

Aldi's own brand stuff is excellent.

It's a pity their soft fruit doesn't keep. I'm sure they genetically engineer it to go soft after a few days.

Even though I prefer to do bulk cooking from scratch, they sound like they might be a good 'instant meal' worth trying for a change, not least as I rarely eat fish. Thanks.

I had smoked haddock fish cakes new spuds and green veg today at a pub,it is years since i had them they were superb.

I make fish cakes but it is a long slog. Aldi are almost as good.
