Correct, on all counts! Sadly tho' the bone knitted perfectly after the first op, the cartilage succumbed to arthritis, leading to a decision to abandon hip and go for a replacement. That was last March. :cry:

Still, like I say, all's well that ends well. It'll take a while before I get to see how it all pans out - right now, as you might expect, my thighs are stupidly uneven - it's pretty hilly round here, and my right leg's been having to do all the work, so it's got steadily bigger as t'other's wasted away. The only remaining question is, will I be able to use my fixie again? I say yes, she says 'sell it'. We shall see... :becool:
