I wrote something quite controversial in a thread here, which upset quite a few people, I would just like to apologise here and say I don't support any form of discrimination/prejudice/violence(unless it's bike thieves)

I don't know what you wrote but it takes a decent person to recognise that what they've said may cause offence and apologise for it.

No. I saw it as well but at least he has apologised and there seems to be true sentiment behind the apology.

Looks like no matter what you said has been forgiven. I posted a stupid joke last week that was from an e-mail I was sent on the spur of the moment and everyone jumped on the "I'm an peanut" bandwagon. No one forgave me when I apologised
