Another bike light question.....

Tried it tonight. worked alright but need to perfect it. Just one old guy asked me to turn my lights off...i said I can't see without it so he said 'why don't you go on the roads?'.....i like the idea of a remote set up mentioned above. you lose a lot of dexterity with a winter glove on though so even pushing the light up and down is a bit cumbersome.

I always learned it shut be pointed to the ground maybe a few meters in front of you if you have bad visability but not to the extent that you blind someone. We used to have a police officers coming to schools to check every bike on working lights. Have to say this was before the battery operated lights came to the market.
