Another idiot bus driver

Clipped me today which I unfortunately don't have on film, I went to the local station where I knew he stopped and asked for the driver, the bus CCTV shows I never raised a finger. Thoughts on this idiot? Two other drivers stood there also laughed and refused to give a name, I do have a stammer which is why my speech is terrible which he also took the mick out of, wish I left the camera rolling as I walked away as that's when the serious threats were made ( would like to have seen him try lol)

There are too many r soles employed as bus drivers. They like to call themselves 'professional' drivers. In my experience they are consistantly less than professional and on occassion, bloody dangerous. Shame about your camera footage. What are the bus company doing about it? Does their cctv footage show the bus clipping you, or at least passing way to close? They should drag his sorry arse through the disciplinery process as a minimum. As for these morons taking th emick out of your stammer, that is deplorable, and simply goes to emphasize how arrogant and ignorant these type of 'people' are. I'm sure there are decent people employed as bus drivers, but this lot need taking to account.

I would ask for a copy of the bus cctv. They will likely refuse. I would go to the police anyway and report the incident and tell them the bus company have cctv. The police might then pay them a visit and request sight of the footage. Even if plod do nothing, still report it mate.

i would say report it and if it were my self i won't take people taking the mick unless they are mates and it is in the name of banter so i would have knocked them one even though i'm only small being 5' 11" and a lanky build

If you find that he drives a regular route,hop on,hopefully when the bus is busy,select a stop that suits you and,as you alight imply that drink has been taken.I watched someone do this the other week.The effect was amazing,particularly as the passenger waved his mobile at the driver as he got off and pointed at a passing police car.What had gone on previously I dont know,however,all of a sudden the rest of the passengers[seemingly unconcerned before] suddenly took against the driver and began to call or pretend call the gendarmes,[in fear of my life, lunatic drunk etc].The result was one tearful driver and a bus full of laughing passengers.The opinion seemed to be that he was a bully and that now, if all went well, he would find it hard to pay his mortgage.

They were totally out of order

As for ID, so long as you have the route number and time it is easy for the Company to identify the driver.

Write formally on two levels, firstly the incident and then ask how the drivers conduct meets the Company's requirements under the DDA, and what action they are going to take to ensure that this is not going to recur

Bloody hell youve found it too? Ive had over 200 friends requests oncluding from america, the company is coming over wednesda to discuss it , and the police have been today and are looking at 4 charges including dangerous driving and section 5 public order offences

Well done for keeping quite calm yourself in the face of that. I presume the driver in the video is a different one to the one that clipped you?

Quite why some idiots have to go straight onto the sweary defensive like that is beyond me especially when you're obviously recording it.
