Someone who went through college with me was working a nightshift for a large electronics company and fell asleep in a toilet cubicle. He woke up and walked out into the production area, and realised it was broad daylight and he didn't know any of the people working day shift! He made an excuse to the supervisor of leaving his wallet on his workbench and coming back in for it, before slipping out quietly!

To be accurate milk is sold and priced in litres (or per 100ml) but in bottle of 4 pints (or 2 or 1)
so it is sold in litres but bought in pints


and temperature should properly be measured in centigrade in winter - especially if is is very col (for the UK) so we can have minus numbers

but in F in summer so we can have it "in the 90s" and "over 100 degrees"


and cycling is complicated


I have no idea why people from other countries have problem with this - it is obvious
