Whilst the notion is appealing and I was considering a t shirt of that, but "being able to lick calcium" rather spoiled it for me
In a similar vein I couldn't bring myself to get a "dinosaur" t shirt with a pterodactyl on it. Fair enough if it didn't have the word "dinosaur" on it.

If you drop calcium in water, then it reacts quite strongly giving off heat and hydrogen gas and alkaline calcium hydroxide. OK not as bad as sodium or potassium but chemically along the same lines. Thus licking calcium would be a somewhat ill advised thing

I presume they mean calcium in milk and so on, but obviously that isn't the same as the element in it's pure form.
