My last 2

I worked with a guy who 're-chassised' one in a corner of the factory, a Mk 2 SWB pickup with a transplanted VW/Audi 5 cylinder diesel engine and larger than standard wheels. He used to 'greenlane' in it and took part in trials so it had a rollcage (external), snorkel, lamps and a winch, he'd had it for years and it looked like it'd had a hard life. :becool:

There's a "Ship of Theseus" theme there, (or "Trigger's broom" for the riff raff)

To a degree but the original chassis was knackered, he didn't 'tart it up' but used the original body and the engine was chaned to a more powerful (and more economical) unit years before. It was also one of his 'daily drivers' the other being an early Range-Rover with an LPG conversion fitted.
