Three crashes this year all on the same ride

The Wild Atlantic Way Audax ,The first crash was in the early hours on day four roughly 700 miles in when I fell asleep on the move, woke with a start and promptly rode into a wall

which resulted in a heavily bruised upper arm, the second crash was later in the day when tramming on to try and make up time along a narrow road with grass growing in the middle and I glanced down at the satnav and promptly clipped the verge and dived into the undergrowth

no injury's but the grass was long and it had been raining earlier so I ended up soaked.
The final crash was at dawn on day five when a German rider dozed off in front of me and drifted across my front wheel, in my half awake state I failed to react and clipped their rear wheel whilst doing 12 mph and hit the road hard resulting in a head wound requiring four stitches, bruised ribs and soft tissue bruising between hip and lower ribs

rode the last fourteen miles to the control and got shunted off to hospital for a check over due to the fact that I have to take various medication for my heart and they had to rule out any cardiac event plus they wanted to rule out any chance of concussion as I wasn't wearing a helmet

I was finally chucked out of hospital in the afternoon after they decided my constant nodding off was more to do with lack of sleep rather than concussion and after a quick shower and some food back at the control I set off to try and finish the last 400 miles but only managed another 290 miles before I ran out of time as the lack of sleep and the bruising made made to going somewhat difficult especially on the climbs and there is one thing Ireland doesn't lack and that's climbs .
