First time out since your fall ? Or just overdid life you mean ?

As I Jokingly said - takes longer and longer to ‘heal’. But they do also say ‘Nothing truer is said in jest’ 😎

Good luck bud 👍

No just life...

We started building a extension to our men's shed in sips....

These ones are steel both sides.
Light enough but it's the getting up and down...

I've now visited most of them 🤔
There'll probably be a second round of visits to double check, then a final decision 😄

I'll say it again.........Montane  I am seriously impressed with their gear. Bloody expensive though, but if you are serious about the great outdoors, I think it's worth it.

I've just bought an Extreme jacket(pile/pertex) to replace a buffalo....much more bang for the buck. I also have a 15 y/o Featherlight, the best £35 I've spent.

Did Coniston 14 yesterday. Bit rainy just before the start but dried up for the event apart from some light rain just before mile 10. That was most welcome and cooling. Very undulating course and I‘d set my a target I really wanted to get under. Managed to come is 2 minutes ahead of that goal.

Backing off distance a little again to get back on plan for my June marathon.

I might do some early morning jogging / speed walking. But if nothing else - content this week to spent some time in the sun of the Canary Isles;, with my wife - wandering around, taking in the sights and ‘earning’ some cake credits…..

My recent chipping away at my parkrun times came to an end today. Four minutes slower at this mornings parkrun. I noticed that my left quadriceps were far more tired than my right, need to check for a strength imbalance and build up the right leg. It was still great to be out there in the mud and rain 👍

Oh I entered and then did my back in so wasn't fit to race. It surprised me how hilly it was the first time I ran it. I expected a lap of the lake to be flat. Foolish me.

They do great cakes at the end. I'll try and get there next year. Well done on hitting your time.

I've had a couple of their lightweight windproof cycling jackets. They were hi viz yellow, but it faded rapidly, within as little as a fortnight you could see the armpits in the shade from the sun were much brighter yellow than the rest of the jacket, and they soon ended up a pale creamy white. The elastic didn't last much longer either. I don't recall them being expensive though (I wouldnt have bought them otherwise).
