Anyone cycling on Christmas day?

The nearest i'll get to cycling on Christmas Day is when i try on my latest cycling jersey from Father Christmas

Planning a longer ride with the Belles on Bikes on new year's day.

I'm going to a friend's for Christmas dinner so it all depends on timing. I'm hoping I'll be able to wake up to sunshine so I can walk the dog and then go the extra long way to hers. If it's chucking it down then it'll be the most direct route possible. I'll be cycling either way.

Hopefully get an hour or two in, club ride on Boxing Day as well so have to be carefully planned to get the required permissions - may have to become an annoying fupp to get sent out on my bike...

We will be in a rural area of France over Christmas, so we are taking a couple of MTBs this time and I suspect we will try to get some forest riding on Christmas day. If not, it'll at least be to the baker for croissants and bread

I will be off to Ma's (10 miles) to spend the day with her, eat her out of house and home, then back home Boxing day.

it's just me & Mrs Soltydog on Christmas day & she will have to go see to the horses at some point, so I might take the opportunity to pop out for a 20 miler

Got a nice 30 or 40 mile Beachy Head route planned between breakfast at sisters and dinner at mine to miss out all the prep bit of a bah humbug about the whole Christmas thing so make the most of the miles of empty roads for a nice blast on the bike (my Christmas pressie to myself)
