Ive had bad enough colds to keep me from riding seriously about 4 times this year. I'm not drinking all that much, sleep all right, my diet is OK, I take some vitamins (not that I think that makes much difference). A couple of times after I've been flying I've noticed I've caught something, but I don't think that is the cause of everything.

Anyone else keep getting sick?
This is the most common time of year to get colds, do you have children ? As they generally bring illnesses back from school and spread them, also what age are youu as when you get older your immune system does weaken

I get one or two colds a year. If I'm representative of the general population I catch about a dozen but fight them off without even realising. I believe it helps to wash your hands as soon as you enter your house and before you sit down at your place of work and avoid rubbing your eyes or picking your nose. If you must rub your eyes or nose, do it with the back of your hand or a sleeve, not with a finger that's covered in viruses you've picked up in public.

Normally 1 or 2 a year. Not too bad considering I work in a school.
Son number 1 has just returned from uni with a stonker though so it's only a matter of time.

I feel well off this week. Aching joints and muscles, sneezing fit to burst and an odd burning in my chest. Weird thing is no sore throat and it feels more like extreme hay fever than a virus. I really do feel awful.

Deviated septum? I used to have the same until I had mine sorted. Now I get equally bunged up!

If it bothers you, I was rather deaf on that side, go get an ENT specialist to look up your nose!

Had this bloody lurgy since January, really is getting on my tits now, resigned me to bed for a week at the end of February, got better - sort of, and now every day since then I wake up with something different, sore throat and/or no voice, next day coughing but throat fine, next day cough gone but all snot and sniffles................etc etc etc. I have actually forgotten what it feels like to be healthy:evil:xx(

Try using 2 x 500mg of vitamin c 1 with breakfast and 1 with dinner, this can sometimes reduce the severity of a cold and the length of time you have it
