I am in Beijing at the moment View attachment 433372 and spotted these solid tyres with holes fitted to a rental bike.
I have never see them before and thought you lot might be interested.

Now you know where liquorice allsorts come from.

They really bought into park anywhere rental bikes here. It is like this on every street corner they are so cheap (pennies) to use hardly anyone owns a personal bike. Unfortunately you need a phone app that only works with Chinese bank cards to use them.

Tannus now has a UK rep who is signing up dealers so there might be a shop near you.

My local bike shop is now a Tannus dealer, much against the wishes of the proprietor but he was over-ruled by the manager.

The score so far is five or six to one - they've sold half a dozen pairs of Tannus tyres but have had to remove one pair for a customer who couldn't get on with them.

Feedback seems to be grip can be iffy on white road paint, although you could say that about pneumatic tyres.

Couldn't make my mind up about the Tannus solid tyres.
Then i came across a good deal for 28c Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus. Same level 5 PP as the Marathon Greenguards i was originally going to get..... and with Quidco cashback, a pair only cost me £20.
Just hoping i dont get the sidewall cracking that affected my Landcruisers, if i do, then i'm done with Schwalbe.
