Anyone planning to do the Isle of Wight randonnee this year?

With this good weather and the lighter evenings my thoughts are turning to the Randonnee on May 1[sup]st[/sup] - and getting out on my bike for some much needed training after work!

I have pre registered again for this year, although I have not yet got the time off work. It is a good challenging ride, and the weather often does it's worst, as in last years ride.

This year will be my 10th so planning on doing it on the fixed to make it a bit more interesting.

Glad to hear there's a few others out there who are up for the Randonnee!

I'm now thinking of cycling to the island (via Lymington) from Cheddar in Somerset on the Saturday, doing the Randonnee on the Sunday, then cycling back to Somerset on the Monday - will have to get some serious training done in the next 5 weeks if I'm to survive that in one piece to be honest!
