Anyone riding a (newish**) gravel bike.......is it drop or flat bar ?

Does anyone make a rear disk brake with a cable exit route suited to road/cx/gravel/tour bikes, with the mount on the chainstay. If the rotation of the barrel were reversed, the cable could exit the bottom of the brake more or less horizontally, in line with the cable approach and chainstay.

I've a Giant Revolt 3 with Claris gears. It weighs 12kg but it has been a great winter commuter. It came with 35mm CX tyres which took me halfway up Grisedale beck last week on rocky trails with my son on his MTB.

An absolute hoot to ride "offroad" but I think this bike is such a good all-rounder. I have 32mm Vittoria Randonneur tyres on it now as it will mostly be on the road/trails and sometimes towing a tagalong. In that guise it is reasonably quick but I do notice the difference between this and my 10kg Defy on pure road riding. If I had to go down to one bike, the Revolt would have to be the one.
