So all this water is from the footwear of Reynard?
More than likely...
Both my bikes are recumbent. I do not use goggles or visor. The rain stings my face something chronic. Makes it hard to see. Sleet is worse. Hail? Good grief.
Now the sun's come out...
Question is, do I risk riding to the garage to retrieve the car?
I unclipped my mudguards from the best bike on Sunday evening so that it would fit in the car - and look what happened today !!
Sorry, I will put them back on again soon !
Think yourselves lucky, about to board a ferry for a 29 hr sailing across the North Sea.
You would get a bit wet if you tried to do that journey on a bike.
One good thing about ferries in this weather is the breakfast ques tend to be shorter than usuall.
Actually it was x30 hrs. Freight only and spoilt rotten by the chef/steward. A bit lumpy across North sea,. Now to tackle the roads.
As they say in the Netherlands, "niet gemaakt van suiker"
I'm not made of sugar, or more literally we don't dissolve in water
