Appeal for rider to come forward (Staines/Winsor/London)

Twitter has gone into meltdown as we appear to have another Emma Way type of incident:

If anyone knows a rider who may have been clipped or knocked over please get them to report it to the Police asap. Many cycle-tweeters have screengrabbed her timeline just in case with many of us hoping this is just an online rant with no real injury/incident

People seem to forget that the internet is a public entity. Her account is now locked, but realistically its too late for that.

You don't need a helmet if you don't want to wear one, read both sides of the argument and decide. If you plan on doing sportives or anything competitive however, you will need one for events

Dont worry about either the helmet. Feel free to make the choice. Also most drivers are actually OK. People like this are rare, but the beauty of the web is that they get exposed and sometimes shamed into better behaviour.

I saw it this afternoon - certainly did the rounds and I and everyone else was blocked. Before that I had a quick look at her account. New driver, already done a speed awareness course, then had jumped a red in the last few days where the camera flashed. Hit and run as well will end up with license loss for a new driver. She does post like a foul mouthed idiot. Oh and takes far too many pictures of herself in a mirror. Sad little individual.

She hasnt blocked anyone. She set the profile to private and then, presumably realising that many riders had followed her appears to have closed the account. Another twitter user suggests she might still be on twitter just under a different username.

As you say,she is a catalogue of silly buggery.
